The break of these areas i.e. super built-up area, built up area and carpet area is very important as builders can place from anywhere 55% to 75% of super built up area as carpet area. For eg. If the rate is 1000/- per square feet than the carpet area could be anywhere from 550/- to 750/- per sq. ft. If this kind of break up in not given, I request all home owners to demand it in the sale deed from the vendor/builder. To avoid and false calculations, you could have a professional person to measure the same for you. . It could be anyone who has experience of such things – Architect, Contractor, Interior Decorator , or Real estate Agent, any skilled person who knows stuff.
