Approvals for constructing Ground + 2 houses across Bangalore varies from the place to place. Bangalore Development Authority is the most important authority.
Depending upon location of your site, government body for clearance/approval may change. At times when site is bit away from city limits, you need to get in touch with the different departments. Once Contractor / Architect knows location of the plot, inspects the documents of the plot, he or she will know exactly which departments need to be approached for getting all approvals.
Contractor or Architect who is helping you build house will help you through all required approval process. First thing a Contractor wants to know whether customer is in still in process of buying plot or he already owns it.
Lets assume that customer is a owner of the BDA plot in Banglore. Once all required approvals are cleared from BDA (Bangalore Development Authority), next approval is required from BBMP (Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike).
Next comes Approval from ‘Bangalore Water Supply And Sewerage Board’ (BWSSB).
Next comes Karnataka Electricity Board (KEB) or BESCOM – Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited for Electricity. This is one of the major government authority which you will deal with the when constructing the house.
When ContractorBhai team takes care of getting all approval in place. For approval we prepare all the planning and we get it certified from an Architect. Than only we can approach the required department with the proper planning layout.
