Tell us about yourself?
My name is Hemant Kumar Jadhav and I am working as False Ceiling Contractor since 1995. Most of my project are commercial. I worked for many years for a company named Krishna Enterprises and later started my company.
Now, in my Team I have 20 people.
Since you are doing False Ceiling work ( POP ETC ) since 1995, have you seen any distinct changes in Industries in all these years?
Definitely things have changed. Previously Only moulding with POP ( Plaster of Paris ) was popular. In recent times Gypsum boards have become popular. Then came Armstrong.
From 1995 I started. Material has improved with passing time. Now we have many branded companies that supply quality False ceiling materials.
When you do the p.o.p (Plaster of Paris) ceiling that time do you face any problems or difficulties?
For POP on wall commonly 12 mm and 15 mm thickness can be used.
What are main measures for keeping POP intact?
Lot depends on Frame that is used. how much mm ( millimeter ) of gauge is used – that is important. Is screw been used or some other mechanism used for purpose.
What is the average cost of per sq ft POp rate

I am trying to make a pop. Can you explain how to calculate running foot for cove that generally these pop guys make. And if pop is not wall to wall will my per sq feet calculation include distance wall to wall or what he is actually constructing. I mean it is a hanging type pop with cove on all sides then the calculation is based on actual length x breadth plus running foot for all four sides cove
HELLO. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW MATERIAL OPTIONS FOR CEILING INSULATION MATERIAL AS THE HOUSE IS SITUATED ON THE LAST FLOOR. KINDLY REVERT BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THANK YOU.
I have heard various options but you have to confirm with a false ceiling expert. Glass wool is one option, you have to find out if it works cost wise. One option I have heard of is thermocol sheet, personally dont like it, because it is not safe fire wise. However it is cheap & it does job, so many people use it.
