ACP is a very user friendly product. ACP can easily and quickly be installed as compared to similar products to ACP like POP sheet, etc. Also ACP’s are more of a finished product by itself unlike other similar products. This feature of ACP makes the area or surface where it is used look neat making it a quality product.
ACP’s are usually available in 4’x10’ (wXh) sheets. To cover bigger areas, several sheets are used. One advantage here is that the joints need no extra work or efforts to cover the joints. This is because, (as I said earlier) ACP itself is a finished product. Once ACP is used to cover ceilings, pillars or any other area, one need not worry for next 12-15 years if well maintained. It doesn’t need any rework like re-painting or changing.
Can ACP be used for interior purpose too???

Oh yes, today with technology and awareness, ACP is used majorly in modern Home kitchens. ACP is used for trolleys and cabinets of modular/semi-modular kitchens. But, in kitchens where ACP is used, one needs to be exceptionally careful as ACP can scratch easily on using sharp objects on it. Since the ACP used for kitchens would be of thinner quality, dents too can easily be formed and these scratches and dents are non-repairable. Also one needs to clean the surface immediately to avoid strong stains.

For commercial areas like shops, salons, etc. one needs to be very careful and thoughtful where to use it. Like I suggest owners of garment shops to avoid having ACP. Especially where hanging garments is only option. ACP is a good option to use as false ceiling or have small shelves. For e.g. ACP works best for salons and parlors for shelves where bottles and other hair accessories can be placed.

Hello Hemant, we do not do ACP work ourself. Best is you approach some local supplier. ACP fabrication work is very promising opportunity. Find a successful contractor/vendor & work under him till you get enough experience.

ACP is very widely used for bathroom ceiling. I am not aware about fire grade quality.

Do not use ACP on furniture/surfaces that will come in contact. It will cause scratches in no time. ACP should be used where it will nto easily coem in touch in day to day usage.

ACP is used all over country for external cladding. Quality for external cladding is different then internal. However here the main purpose is to give building a good finish/looks and create a layer of protection. FOr partition wall I am not sure if ACP will suffice. It is just a thin sheet that is installed over metal frames/structure. I am not sure about exact problem – also consider Sheraply, Bison sheet, cement sheet incase those can fit the requirement.
I intend to get the Bed Room walls done with ACP.

dont. ACP inside residence can be used only inside bathroom ceiling else there is no other application. On wall it will get lot of scratches in no time as it will come in contact with people living inside.

DONT, it will get scratches in weeks. Very bad scratches. If you are looking for metalic look, there are laminates with those colours and finish.

It is not a usual practice. Are you creating some branding or art work, or this is some sought of surface repair ? Research Films to apply on top of it.

NO!!! Dont use ACP for countertop, it will start getting scratches in months time and it will look bad. Dont waste money. Granite, marble, solid surface, artificial stones, these are best options.
Is it washable?
Best usage in area/surface which never comes in contact with people easily – ceilings roofs exterior etc. There are special chemicals/soaps and cleaner which can give good results.
