But the mines in this zone are shut during winters due to heavy snow and ice. These marbles are also found in Afghanistan that are usually stocked at Tehran. Bianco Marble along with other white marbles mine in this zone contain small pin holes. It therefore is a softer stone, and liable to scratching or abrasion.

The tile and slab come from different layers in the quarry. Therefore, it is important to note that if both are being used in a project, it is recommended to verify the colors prior to installation. There will be noticeable variations in color and movement between pieces. Therefore, it is important and recommended that a range of this product be viewed before finalizing a purchase.

How slabs are structured

Due to the qualities of the stone, the slabs are book-matched; meaning slab one and slab two will be cut and polished to create a mirror image of each other. These are then kept in sequence, which allows for a consistent flow in pattern.

You have slabs that are stocked at Tehran are available in 14 sqm of 2 cm slabs per ton. The slabs could be cut into 1200mm x 1200mm x 3 mm. This property of being cut to such thinness makes it useful for making laminates too.

Well, As a natural stone product, it is recommended that it be sealed to extend its longevity.

Bianco Marble comes in two different types namely – Bianco Carrara and Bianco Venatino.
The only difference between the two is that Bianco Venatino has much whiter background and is crisp with added pencil-thin veining. This makes it higher priced as compared to Bianco Carrara. And Bianco Carrara is the least expensive of the white marbles coming from this zone.
