Types on Channels

Basic Channels – The Basic channels come in 3 parts. You have different length channels available in basic channels i.e 8”, 10”, 12”.

Soft Close Channel – Drawers and other furniture with Soft Close Channel, will close smoothly rather them a bang noise at the end. You just need to push the drawer and it closes softly by its own. There are telescopic (which are basic channels) that are available in soft close options too.

Push to open Channel– Usually drawers with Push to open channels, do not require handle. All you have to do is push the drawer and it will slide out smoothly.

Tandem Box – Tandem Box Channels are good 2” to 2.5” thick channels. They function like soft close channels. The side portion is made of Stainless steel. They are available in 3 basic colours, white, grey and S.S finish. These kind of channels are best for drawers where maximum storage or weight is expected.

Baskets Types

Baskets/Trolleys for kitchen cabinets are either made out of wood or S.S. (stainless steel). But due to easy cleaning and maintenance, most home owners prefer S.S (stainless steel) trolleys. There are different trolley designs that help home owners keep utensils in well behaved way. They are-

Cutlery basket – This is trolley store spoon, knives, “chamchas” and other small utensils.

Plain Basket – Here big utensils like “tappelas” and storage utensils like “steel barnis” are kept.

Cup-n-Saucer Basket – Here you can keep Cups and saucers. This drawers usually have caudry channel of Hettich brand which is soft close channel.

Thali Basket – Here you can keep you plates, thalis, lids, trays, etc. which are almost flat or with very little thickness.
