If you go for branded or high end modular kitchen, then Profile Shutters use better materials. Hardware from popular imported companies like Hafele & Hettich are used. High quality Soft close fittings are used (which are expensive). Towards higher side, Hardware is something that can get very costly. Due to Soft close – shutters, drawers stay like new & smooth for long long time.
Channels for Modular Kitchen Drawers
Normal channels get bend after a period of time. However high end channels stay good. There are Electronic sensor fittings in market which are too costly. There is open and close button on it and by pressing it the drawers open and close.
In Budget Kitchen – you have a limited budget, we use branded things but of low cost . Even these are of good quality and last for long time. There is no soft close in this. We have to make drawers & shutters from the carpenters. Cost of hardware used is less in Budget kitchens.
A lot depends on clients requirement. There are variety of materials that can be used. Marine ply shutter, laminate shutter, acrylic door, glass shutter, PU point shutter. Instead of PU point shutter use Laminate finish shutter (in high quality marine ply). Instead of Soft close take normal fitting (branded & good quality)
